Description
These clumping, semi-deciduous perennials spread by rhizomes to 4' wide. Silvery pink flowers on 2.5' tall stalks appear in summer and fall. Dark green leaves are covered with fine hairs. This perennial needs afternoon shade and medium watering. Deadhead to promote more blooms and keep tidy. Cut back to the ground in winter or when foliage is burned from the cold. This plant is lovely for woodland gardens.
